In the south of the province of Alicante, in south-eastern Spain, on the sunny Costa Blanca, you will find a place with a unique atmosphere and ancient charm. The unique microclimate is provided by two salt lakes, which, combined with the sea air, are popular with people suffering from chronic coughs, asthma or rheumatism and have a beneficial effect on everyone else. In the summer it is not so hot, in the winter the temperature is close to 20 degrees.

The beautiful sandy beaches combined with the local microclimate are suitable for summer holidays with the family as well as for spending winter days at homeoffice.

At your disposal is a comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with a terrace for 2 to 4 people with its own underground garage, free seasonal pool (April - September) and a panoramic roof. 

The kitchen is fully furnished. Air conditioning in all rooms. Of course there is fast wifi. You can use the washing machine, dishwasher and two televisions with antenna and internet connection.

Sleep comfortably on the double bed in the bedroom. In the living room you can use a sofa bed and a folding armchair. Enjoy a relaxing sitting area on the terrace with delicious Spanish wine and olives. From the roof of the house you have a wonderful view of the sea and the surrounding area.

From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the hallway in front of the apartment. From Allicante Airport you can reach the apartment in 45 minutes by car. You can also reach us by bus without any problems.

Do you want to take a bath?  Walk through the Parque del Molino del Agua and you're on the beach. Fancy a bite to eat? Just across the street is the stylish Queen Mississipi restaurant.

What can you find nearby?

  • Sandy beaches stretch for 20 km - Playa de Torrelamata is 550 metres away, just pass through Parque del Molino del Agua. The beaches gradually slope down into the sea, making them suitable for families with young children as well as less fit swimmers. The other 6 beaches are in the centre of Torrevieja, 5 km away: Playa de Los Locos, Playa del Cura, Paseo Maritimo Juan Aparicio, Playa del Acequion and Playa de Los Naufragos.
  • You can enjoy various water sports such as paragliding, windsurfing and water skiing.
  • 2 kilometres away is Las Mata Natural Park, which is formed by the connection of two saltwater lagoons. The famous pink salt lake (Laguna Rosa) is a great place for photographers and relaxation. There are cycle paths around both lakes with many viewpoints and places to observe atypical flora and various birds. Our favourite are the flamingos. They are lined with orange and citrus plantations.
  • At the edge of the lagoons you can visit the local salt house or salt museum.
  • Aquopolis Waterpark is ideal fun for families with children (open in summer).
  • Local markets: the nearest ones are just about 1 km from the apartment right on La Mata.
  • Restaurants and shops are all around within walking distance. They are quite cheap. The local paella is amazing. For entertainment, there are numerous beach bars, discos and nightclubs within walking distance, but they won't disturb your stay.
  • From the port of Torrevieja you can take a trip to Isla Tabarca, the smallest inhabited island in Spain. It is also an attractive snorkelling site.
  • Cartagena is a nearby historic city. You can visit the museum of submarines in addition to numerous historical monuments. However, you can also see the submarine Delfin right in the port of Torrevieja.
  • Zoo - Rio Safari Elche is ideal for a visit with children.
  • There are several championship golf courses in the vicinity (Lo Romeo,...)
  • You can also enjoy horseback riding tours at Centro Hípico.

How to reach us?

The address of the apartment is Residence PARQUE MAR, Calle Morera 4, 03180, TORREVIEJA, ALICANTE. The entrance to the garage is from Calle Abedul. We rent a car directly at Alicante airport, we prefer to use the rental car RecordGo.
